Bill Carpenter

Bill is responsible for the design, pricing and sales support associated with ICBC’s insurance products and customer experience. His team works with a network of over 900 Autoplan Brokers to ensure customers have the products they need to protect them while driving and traveling in vehicles.

Bill joined ICBC in 2011. His previous positions include Chief Actuary and Vice President Underwriting for Reliance Direct Insurance, Vice President of Underwriting for Nationwide Insurance and Principal at Milliman Inc., one of the world’s largest providers of actuarial and related products and services. 

He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the organization’s Committee on Ratemaking, the Automated Vehicle Task Force and is a past president of the Casualty Actuaries of the Mid-Atlantic Region.
