Nicolas Jimenez

Nicolas was appointed president and CEO in July 2018. He is responsible for providing overall leadership and strategic direction to help ICBC provide superior customer service and the best insurance coverage at the lowest rates possible.

Nicolas joined ICBC in 2003. Most recently he was Vice President, Insurance Strategy, Product and Pricing. Prior to this, he was Senior Director, Insurance Product and Portfolio Strategy focused on the implementation of PolicyCenter, ICBC’s new, core insurance sales system.

He has also held senior roles in Driver Licensing, Road Safety, Corporate Development and Communications.

Prior to joining ICBC, Nicolas worked in strategy and public sector management, including roles in the Parliament of Canada, the Privy Council Office (Government of Canada), BC Hydro and IBM Global Business Services.

Nicolas holds a Master of Public Administration from both Harvard University and the University of Victoria and an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University.

He is also involved in board work for a number of outside organizations, including the United Way of the Lower Mainland, Royal Canadian Geographic Society and the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival.
